A Brief History of Moss Paradise

Ever since our arrival in Vancouver in 1980 we have been enamoured with the British Columbia coast, its thousands of islands, its beautiful wilderness, the rocky shores, the untouched remote beaches, the dense rain forests, and the moss-covered rock outcroppings. This led us to purchase our 10 acre property on Pender Island in 1991. In 1994 we built a simple 100 square foot cabin at the prime view spot and lately we added a sundeck in front of the cabin. Now, as the next step, we are building a small house, surrounded by our large outdoors living space.
